AdFree removes most ads in the browser and other apps. It does this by nullifying requests to known host names in the system hosts file.
If you have problems with this app, or you know of additional host names not being filtered, please comment in xda-developers.com forum so it can be fixed!
What's in this version:
0.8.13 Added screen to view logged host names, clicking on a host name will open a browser with the host name on the adfree website, fixed display issue with check boxes
0.8.14 Start TCP dump if enabled when network connection is established
0.8.15 Fixed checkbox bug
(Latest version is v0.8.14 but the changelog shows v0.8.15!)
